Legal
Terms
The terms you're agreeing to when you buy a download or a pack here. Everything sold is digital and delivered instantly.

1. Who I am
I'm Matthew Wright, trading as Web of Secrets, a sole trader based in Spain. Web of Secrets is a trading name, not a company. Contact: matthewwrightmagic@gmail.com.
The magic here is mine — I make it, I deliver it, and I'm the one who answers when you email. The payment itself goes through Stripe's Link service, which acts as the seller of record: it takes the money, handles the tax and sends your receipt.
2. What I sell
Digital products only. Nothing physical is sold, and nothing is posted or shipped.
What "download" means here: you get a private link to watch the video on Vimeo, plus the password it asks for. You'll need both, and an internet connection to watch. The videos are streamed rather than saved to your device — there's no file to keep — and your link keeps working for as long as this site runs. If a link ever stops working, email me.
A pack is different: you get a code that unlocks content inside one of my apps. Once it's unlocked, that content stays on your phone and works offline.
The apps themselves are free to download from the App Store or Google Play. Their stores' own terms apply to them.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds and include any tax — the price you see is the price you pay, wherever in the world you are. If your card isn't in pounds, checkout may show that same price converted into your currency. Payment is handled by Stripe's Link checkout, which works out and pays any VAT or sales tax due in your country. I never see your card number.
4. Delivery
Delivery is instant. As soon as your payment goes through you get your download, or your pack code together with the link to the free app. Nothing is sent by post and there's nothing to wait for.
5. Your right to cancel, and why it ends at delivery
If you're a consumer in the UK or the EU, you normally have 14 days to change your mind about something bought online.
Digital content is different. Because delivery here is instant, before you pay you have to tick a box. These are the exact words you tick — the same words are recorded against your order:
I request immediate access to this digital content and acknowledge that, once access is provided, my statutory right to cancel is lost.
It asks for the content straight away and accepts that this gives up your 14-day right to cancel. You can't buy without ticking it. Once you have, and your link or code has been sent, that right is gone. If you'd rather keep it, don't buy — email me instead.
Nothing here affects your legal rights if what you bought is faulty or isn't as described.
6. Refunds
If a video won't play or a code won't unlock, email me and I'll put it right or refund you. Because these are digital products that can't be returned, I don't otherwise refund once it's been delivered. You can also go to Link, who took your payment: Link can refund a purchase itself within 60 days, including in cases where it hasn't asked me first.
7. What you may and may not do with it
What you buy is for your own use, including performing it professionally. It stays mine: you're buying a personal, non-transferable licence to use it, not the rights to it.
You may not:
- share, sell, lend or give away the files, or your pack code;
- upload the videos anywhere, or show them publicly;
- teach, publish or explain the methods to anyone else;
- copy the material into a product of your own.
Pack codes may be limited to a set number of devices.
8. Instruction pages
The instructions pages are signposts for tricks bought previously. No video or PDF is hosted on this site: the instructions are on Vimeo or Murphy's, at the link you were given when you bought the trick. If you've lost it, email me.
9. Availability and liability
I do my best to keep this site and the apps working, but I can't promise they'll always be available or free of faults. Nothing in these terms limits my liability where the law doesn't allow it.
10. Law
Spanish law applies to these terms. If you're a consumer somewhere else, you keep the protection of the consumer law where you live.
11. Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones published when you bought.
