App privacy policy
CTRL'd and Digital Visions collect no personal information. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking.

1. Which apps this covers
This policy covers the Web of Secrets apps: CTRL'd and Digital Visions. I'm Matthew Wright, trading as Web of Secrets, a sole trader based in Spain. You can reach me at matthewwrightmagic@gmail.com.
2. What the apps collect
Nothing. The apps don't collect, store or share personal information. There are no user accounts, no analytics and no tracking. They don't access your contacts, messages, photos, location or any other personal data on your device.
The one thing outside my control: on Android, CTRL'd uses a Google service to work the camera, and Google handles that data under its own policy — see below.
3. Camera
CTRL'd uses your camera to find the card and play its animation over it. The camera picture is processed on your phone, in memory, while the app is open: it's used to track where the card is and to check its colour. CTRL'd itself never records, saves, uploads or shares it.
CTRL'd's own code has no analytics, advertising or tracking. Its menu has a video link that opens Vimeo in your browser; Vimeo's own privacy policy applies there. Digital Visions doesn't use the camera at all.
On Android: Google Play Services for AR (ARCore)
This application runs on Google Play Services for AR (ARCore), which is provided by Google and governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
ARCore is the part of Android that follows the card through the camera. Google says it collects some data to make ARCore work and for its own analytics: how Google Play Services for AR handles your data. None of it comes to me. CTRL'd doesn't use ARCore's location or cloud features.
On iPhone, the same job is done by Apple's ARKit, on your phone.
4. Unlocking packs
CTRL'd has no codes and no in-app purchases, so nothing in this section applies to it.
When you unlock purchased content in Digital Visions with a code, the app sends an anonymous one-way identifier to my server, so that a code can be limited to a set number of devices. That identifier can't be used to identify you or your device and isn't linked to any personal information. No name, email address or payment detail is ever sent to me or held by me.
Once its content is unlocked, Digital Visions works offline. It doesn't need an internet connection to perform.
5. Purchases
Anything bought inside Digital Visions is handled entirely by Apple (or Google Play on Android). I never see your payment details. Packs bought on this website will be handled by a payment provider in the same way — see the website privacy policy.
6. Children
The apps are made for performers and aren't aimed at children. They collect no personal data from anyone, whatever their age.
7. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions go to matthewwrightmagic@gmail.com.
