The Hook is about the questions underneath: why this effect and not another one, when it belongs in the set, and where the meaning in it actually sits. I perform material from my own repertoire and then pull it apart — not how it works, but why it lands.
Eugene Burger taught me to look for depth in magic rather than just technique. This is me passing that on, so you can build presentations that sound like you instead of like the instructions.
