FOCGOFF — Force One Card, Get One Fish Free — is my own principle, and it’s been part of my working repertoire for years.

Here’s the routine I built on it. A single card sits on a spectator’s hand from the very start, with a banknote clipped to it. Two people each think of a card. One of them turns out to be the card that’s been on the hand all along; the other is written on the note — and neither of them ever says what they were thinking.

Over thirty minutes on the principle itself, plus the Social Distance Force and the Marvelous Clipped Switch.
